Job Description:
Job Description Job Description High School Research Program
Overview The Ingenuity Project oversees an independent STEM
(science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) research
program for high school students at Baltimore Polytechnic

offsite and onsite. The offsite research program allows students to
leave campus to work with university faculty, researchers, and

to conduct an independent research project onsite in school, guided
by Ingenuity’s Director of Research. Both options enable students
to be creative, independent thinkers, strengthen their
communication skills, produce high-quality written work, and help
prepare a future study in STEM in college. The program begins with
Ingenuity’s Introduction to Research course in the sophomore year.
This course takes up ¼ of the Honors Chemistry course and is taught
by an Ingenuity staff member. Please visit these web pages to learn
