Early Development Undergrad Intern What You Will Do Lets do this.
Lets change the world. The Amgen Clinical Program Operations -
Early Development team in R&D Global Development supports the
design, planning, and management of the operational strategy
activities related to the execution of phase 0-1b/2 clinical trials
in varying therapeutic areas including oncology, cardiovascular,
inflammation, neuroscience and healthy volunteer. The intern will
be assigned to work with clinical research study management teams
and may engage in the following activities: Gain a general
knowledge of GCP, ICH, and Amgen process in the conduct of
translational medicine early-stage program development clinical
trialsContribute to team and study deliverables such as pharmacy
manuals, informed consent forms, site training materials, and
review of clinical trial data trends that support planning,
implementation, and reporting of resultsParticipate in a
longitudinal project that assesses or helps address a need for the
departmentConduct at least 1 lecture for clinical research staff in
Early Development on topics that impact our clinical trialsGain
experience working in clinical trial management teams to better
assess the direction of their career pathWhat We Expect of You We

qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Amgen requires that all
individuals applying for an undergrad internship assignment at
Amgen must meet the following criteria: 18 years or older Currently
enrolled in a full-time Bachelors Degree program from an accredited
college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or
university prior to the internship commencing Enrolled in a
full-time Bachelors degree program following the potential
internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or
university Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
Student must be located in the United States for the duration of
the internship OR co-op Preferred Qualifications Degree
concentration in biological or physical sciencesAbility to think
critically & work independentlyStrong attention to detailExcellent
written and oral communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills
