BELFOR is looking for qualified candidates for the following position. BELFOR team members are a unique breed, committed to restoring not only property, but restoring lives for those affected by disasters, large or small. Position Overview The Sales and Marketer will perform a wide variety of tasks involving the growth and maintenance of both new and existing business in the office. Responsibilities for this candidate will include cold calling on new customers, hosting outings for current customers and working with other BELFOR associates to ensure good communication with everyone. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Minimum of 2 years of experience as a marketing coordinator in the construction, property management and insurance industry. * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously. * Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner with the public. * Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department. * Computer Literate COMPETENCIES * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Track record of exceeding sales goals. * Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices * Primary point of contact for customers -- agents, adjusters, and property management groups. * Assists with daily operation of the office's marketing efforts. * Responsible for locating new opportunities for BELFOR, by visiting existing and new customers. * Scheduling lunches/dinners with potential and current clients. * Generate sales and potential opportunities by representing the company at industry related conventions, trade shows, exhibit booths, golf outings and other marketing events. * Must be responsive to the customer's needs and follow through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal. * Make sales presentations to various groups when needed. * Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel. * Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth * Establish appointments, register the company for events, send out and/or drop off promotional materials. RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide quantitative data to support results of Marketing events to management * Develop and maintain current knowledge of BELFOR services, industry trends, and competitive information. * Manage marketing calendar of events scheduled for the office. * Solid computer skills, including a proficiency at using spreadsheets, internet, Data Base programs, and smart phones. * Maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public. * Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives * Attend BELFOR sponsored operations and safety training courses as required * Maintain marketing data base and customer communication logs * Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
