Job Description:
Sparks Group is seeking to fill a critical role, Customer
Services Representative. We are looking for a "people" person who
is bilingual English/Spanish. You are the first person our
customers talk with on the phone and the first face they see when
visiting our offices. This position handles incoming and outgoing
mail, provides front counter service, directs incoming phone calls,
issues Electronic Benefit Transaction cards, maintains program
documentation, responds to customer's in-person and telephone
inquiries, and other duties in support of the department.Under the
general direction of the Customer Services Center Supervisor, this
full- time position provides front counter customer service. The
department currently has two locations: Leesburg and Sterling, and
this position will work from both locations to meet programmatic
needs.The ideal candidate: --- Has the ability to easily connect
with people, and communicates professionally --- Establishes and
maintains effective working relationships --- Is dependable and
works well in a fast-paced, structured environment --- Is
knowledgeable of Microsoft Office and experienced with using data
systems and multi-lined phone systems --- Maintains great
organizational skills --- Maintains confidentiality and
demonstrates empathy and respectThe successful candidate will meet
the following: --- High School diploma or equivalent (associate
degree with coursework in business, accounting, public
administration, or field related to assigned department
preferred)
