Logistics Analyst & Medical Liaison with strong critical thinking
and analytical skills. The Logistics Analyst will work
collaboratively in teams, be adaptable, and be a proactive problem
solver.Responsibilities
- Maintain close coordination with PEO S, PM SMD, other Medical
Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) liaisons, local stakeholders,
and support agencies, including related integration and fielding of
medical and non-medical products.
- Coordinate maintenance requirements with supported units and
local support agencies, including local Medical Treatment
Facilities and Medical Logistics units.
- Provide technical assistance for medical material sustainment
operations.
- Oversee communication and up-line reporting between PM SMD and
field units.
- Manage Class VIII re-supply requirements and assist in
developing requirement estimates and resource recommendations for
supported units.
- Assist PEOS, PM SMD Regional Managers with coordinating on-site
infrastructure, materiel handling support, and unit synchronization
for fielding missions.
- Provide analysis and recommendations on courses of action for
medical materiel and equipment procurement strategies.
- Execute handoff of medical equipment and medical sustainment
technical guidance to gaining units and provide all relevant
completed and signed documents to respective Regional
Managers.
- Conduct fault systems analysis for identified medical materiel
support issues and provide problem statements with supported
research and recommendations.
- Provide liaison support services between PEOS, PM SMD FID, and
Army Medical Materiel Centers, globally located medical contingency
support activities and exercises.
- Assist in the development, publication, distribution, and
archive management of Mission Support Plan agreements and
supporting documentation.
- Provide subject matter expertise on current medical
regulations, emerging medical initiatives, and materiel
updates.
- Train supported units on web-based medical materiel readiness
and sustainment tools, medical set sustainment, automated medical
logistics systems, and materiel inventory.Desired Skills
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in military medical logistics
or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of a military environment, including Army
automated logistics systems (EWLS, LOGICOL System, AESIP, GCSS-A,
LMI-DST, and M3PT) and related operations.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System
(TEWLS), LOGICOL System, Materiel Integrator Decision Support Tool
(LMI-DST), Medical Materiel Mobilization Planning Tool (M3PT), Army
Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP), and Global Combat
Support System-Army (GCSS-A).
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Experience in coordinating and managing medical materiel
fielding missions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and use appropriate
personal protective equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to work professionally and effectively with personnel at
various seniorities.
- Must be proficient with MS suites including Excel, Word, and
SharePoint.
- US Citizen.
- Must be able to pass background and drug testing.Education and
CertificationsBachelor's Degree desired (but not required) in
Business, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a
related field.CompensationSalary Range: $85,000-$135,000. The above
salary range is a guideline; however, compensation is determined by
a number of factors, including the scope of the position and the
candidate's experience, education, certifications, training,
