support our tactical space systems division located in Dulles,
VA.Primary Duties/Responsibilities:Manual assembly of electronic
and mechanical devices according to assembly instructions, customer
specifications and quality standardsHand soldering of various
electronic devices (surface mount and through hole) following the
J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standardsReworking thru-hole and surface
mount assemblies including fine pitch components and ensuring that
IPC criteria have been met according to IPC standardComponent
preparation (forming), placement or installationVisual inspection
of assemblies per the IPC standard and customer specific
standardsTaking part in training and certification programs to
ensure job knowledge and skills set requirements are updated
regularlyParticipate in team level quality improvement
initiativesIn-process Inspection and touch up of thru-hole and
surface mount components using microscopeAbility to demonstrate
rework skills with de-soldering station and hot air gunCommunicate
and take direction from Supervisor/ ManagerOther duties as
assignedBasic Qualifications:Must have achieved J-STD-001 soldering
certification within the last 5 years, and must have experience
soldering under a microscopeMaintain ESD Integrity within
production environmentMaintain the highest level of quality
standards at all timesMaintain ESD Integrity within production
environmentAttention to detailone plus years of previous experience
hand solderingAA or other 2 year technical degree in related
discipline and 1 year of related experience (additional years of
experience will be accepted in lieu of AA Degree)Preferred
Qualifications:Aerospace Industry experienceAbility to obtain a Top
Secret ClearanceSalary Range: $50,000 USD $83,400 USDEmployees may
be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
