Maintenance Manager is responsible for administering and managing
the maintenance of company aircraft, ground support equipment, and
hangar facilities. The Maintenance Manager will serve as the FAR
145 Repair Station Accountable Manager and manage a team of Shift
Supervisors and Chief Inspectors who oversee and direct the
activities of 18 maintenance staff members at three company
locations.The primary work location of this position is at the
company hangar facility at the Washington-Dulles Airport (IAD) in
Virginia.Other job responsibilities include:Directing, motivating,
developing, and engaging a diverse workforce in a dynamic
environment across multiple locationsCoordinating with department
leadership on day-to-day operational decisions and long-range
strategic plans and budgetsCoordinating maintenance department
activities with other departments such as Operations, Safety,
Standards, Training and AdministrationEstablishing operational
procedures and policies to ensure safe, effective, and
cost-efficient departmental practicesProviding technical expertise
on maintenance procedures, certifications, and aircraft
airworthiness to all company operating sectorsInterfacing with the
FAA on all regulatory compliance issuesDirecting the administration
of relationships with all airframe and powerplant manufacturers and
other vendor servicesBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree and 15
years of aviation maintenance experience with a background in FAR
Part 145 repair station operations (will consider additional
experience in lieu of education)Experience on corporate-class
aircraft, including turbojet and turboprop aircraftPrevious
aircraft maintenance management experienceFAA Aircraft and
Powerplant certificateCurrent FAA Inspection AuthorizationHigh
school diploma or equivalentEligibility to secure and maintain an
airport-issued security badgeEligibility to secure and maintain a
US-issued passportProficiency with CMP and CAMP Maintenance
Tracking programsProficiency with Microsoft Office
productsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsUS
citizenshipPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaintenance training and
experience on Citation 680, Gulfstream 550, and King Air 350
aircraftSalary Range: $141,300 USD $211,900 USDEmployees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
