We are currently seeking mulitple Hardware Technicians to join our
team in Sterling, VA supporting the Custom and Border Patrol
Integrated Traveler Initiative (ITI) program. On ITI we will
develop and maintain CBP's targeting and analysis systems that
integrate technologies and data in real-time, enabling CBP
officers, analysts, and agents to flag shipments and travelers for
additional examination and inspection. We will deploy new
capabilities such as cloud-based analytics and AI/machine learning
to facilitate legitimate travel and trade, identify high-risk
travelers and cargo faster, and enable CBP to maximize application
of its workforce.
These technicians will be responsible for the construction of
modular electronic systems utilizing commercial-off-the-shelf
(COTS) hardware and configuration using COTS and proprietary
software. The candidates will have experience in the electronic and
/ or mechanical assembly process.

and technical terms.

Basic Skills and Qualifications:
--- 1-3 years of experience building electronic systems including
wires, screws and electrical components in an enclosure.
--- Experience using power tools such as drills, power saws, and

--- Experience in working with cable, wire and termination
--- Understanding of simple test equipment such as multi-meters and
