Description:
Position SummaryThe Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely
delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes in
a safe driving manner, checking in orders prior to delivery,
loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer
service to our client base.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLoading,
transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a
safe, timely mannerReporting to work at the scheduled time and in
uniform with a pen, phone and any navigation devicesChecking in
orders to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct,
and the customer is satisfiedAssisting with loading and unloading
items from vehiclesAccepting payments on occasionProviding
excellent customer serviceAdhering to assigned routes and following
time schedulesAbiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a
safe driving record including E-logs when requiredPreparing reports
and other documents relating to deliveriesHaving the customer sign
for the delivery and noting on the invoice any product not on
truck, damaged or refused
Requirements:
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid driver's
license with clean driving recordMedical DOT CardMinimum one year
of experience requiredWillingness to adhere to assigned routes,
schedules, safety procedures, and DOT regulationsStrong time
management and customer service skillsMust possess a positive and
professional attitudeAttention to detailWorking ConditionsDriver
will be outside in all weather conditionsSitting, driving, lifting,
and carrying/lifting product that could occasionally be up to 70
lbs.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and
