a transformer?ResponsibilitiesThis person will be responsible for
formulating and implementing processes and procedures and systems
for tracking and analyzing software from procurement through
retirement.This person should be comfortable developing and
conducting training as needed on Software Asset Management business
practices.Formulates and implements processes, procedures, and
systems for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and
equipment from requisition through retirement.Account for the IT
assets throughout the enterprise utilizing tools to manage all
assets within the organization and affiliated companies.Report to
senior management ITAM/life cycles and resolve conflicts. Verify,
enter, and adjust equipment IT asset management data in a variety
of forms, schedules, and reports. Track entire life-cycle
management for each asset in order to maintain warranty
information, refresh date, and end-of-life data information. Work
directly with the administrator(s) to maintain inventory
accuracy.Develop written plans, policies, and procedures to
document processes to support the asset management lifecycle.
Conduct annual inventory audit and develop processes and procedures
to ensure accuracy.You will have responsibility for the daily and
long-term strategic management of software and technology-related
hardware assets within our global organization. Additionally, this
role will have global responsibility for establishing and
maintaining asset management processes to ensure comprehensive
asset planning and monitoring for quality across the lifecycle of
the asset.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business,
Management or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination
of training and experience with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate
experience)Technology hardware/software asset life cycle
management, best practice governance, services, and tooling
(experience with ServiceNow highly desired)Policy, process, and
operational procedure development and implementationEffectively
leveraging asset management repositories and processes to enable
cybersecurity resilience, IT operations continuity and integrated
risk managementMust have current DoD Secret Clearance.Desired
QualificationsUnderstanding of ITIL processesAbility to direct the
resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems applying
advanced analytical thought and judgmentDemonstrated leadership
experience building cross-organizational consensus with exposure to
technology providers and/or business clientsInnovative-inquisitive
nature, challenging status quo, thinking outside the boxAbility to
communicate business concepts and needs in technology relevant
terms as well as translation of technical concepts into business
terminologyRelationship skills to facilitate positive vendor
