Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an experienced
Supplier/Procurement Lead who will be responsible for defining
plans, processes, methods, and tools for ensuring supply chain
management and chain of custody for the life of all Government
assets. This position will support a contract tasked with
designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining onsite and
cloud-based enterprise IT solutions for an intelligence customer in
the Washington Metropolitan Area.Successful candidates will be
responsible for all activities associated with researching and
recommending cost effective purchase arrangements, as well as vital
in supporting the Government's purchase process and coordinating
the delivery of purchases.The ideal Supplier/Procurement Lead will
have a keen sense of self-awareness as well as an ability to think
and behave strategically. They must possess solid communication
skills, be detail-oriented, and an ability to remain disciplined in
prioritizing tasks and remaining focused on the
objective.Additional Responsibilities include:
- Managing, tracking, and auditing hardware recapitalization,
maintenance agreements, and software licensing Developing and
updating system security plans
- Ensuring the review purchase requisitions for clarity,
compliance, detail, completeness, and obtain additional information
considered necessary.
- Managing the procurement process from order placement through
receipt of products and subsequent payment of invoices
- Managing supplier performance through consistent communication
to ensure proper adherence to purchase order terms and
conditions.
- Participating in the invoice approval process to ensure that
supplier invoices are in accordance with purchase order terms and
conditions and resolve issues as necessary.Required Education,
Experience, & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain
contracting.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in a similar role executing on time deliveries of
hardware and software; interacting with key suppliers; dealing with
the financial impacts of supplier decisions on programs; and
managing, tracking, and auditing existing hardware and software
inventories.
- Experience supporting procurement system compliance, materials
management, prime contract flow downs, supplier quality, and
supplier teaming to achieve successful results.
- Experience working with price analysis methodologies.
- Experience working with Commercial Supplier Agreements (CSAs)
and End User License Agreements (EULAs).Pay InformationFull-Time
Salary Range: $140690 - $239140Please note: This range is based on
our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are
determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal
equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills,
