(HR) team is responsible for managing the entire employee lifecycle
from recruitment through retirement, collaborating closely with
various departments such as New Site Development, Construction,
Operations, Sales, Finance, Tech & Systems, and Legal to ensure a
cohesive and supportive work environment. Our HR team is
distinguished by its proactive and strategic approach. Unlike in
many organizations where HR functions are limited to administrative
oversight, our HR professionals are empowered with the authority
and responsibility to drive critical processes directly. This
includes talent acquisition, employee development, performance
management, and organizational planning. By leveraging in-house
expertise, our HR team can align long-term organizational
sustainability with innovative HR practices and cost-effective

Each member of our HR team plays a pivotal role in making

work environment.Position OverviewThis role can be based in
Ashburn, VA; in alignment with our flexible work policy. (3 days on
site required, 2 days flexible)."Embark on an exciting journey with
us as the Employee Onboarding Specialist for Vantage's North
American region. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for
designing and delivering an exceptional onboarding experience that
sets our new hires up for long-term success. Reporting to the
Senior Director of Learning and Development, with a dotted line to
the Senior Manager for Onboarding Excellence, you will play a
crucial part in shaping the employee experience from day
one.Drawing on your expertise in adult learning principles and your
passion for creating engaging, transformative programs, you will
collaborate with members of the regional people and culture team to
seamlessly implement our comprehensive onboarding curriculum across
the North American region. At the same time, you will leverage your
deep understanding of the local market to develop regionally
specific content and resources that cater to the unique needs of
our new starters. By partnering closely with HR professionals and
functional subject matter experts, you will craft an onboarding
journey that not only orients our new hires to Vantage's culture
and values but also empowers them to hit the ground running and

mark.Essential Job FunctionsOnboarding Program Design and
Delivery:
- Design and deliver an engaging, comprehensive onboarding
program for new hires in the North American region, aligned with
global onboarding initiatives.
- Facilitate engaging, interactive onboarding sessions, both
in-person and virtually, to immerse new hires in Vantage's culture,
values, and expectations.
- Utilize a variety of delivery methods, including in-person
sessions, virtual workshops, and self-paced e-learning, to ensure
an immersive and impactful onboarding experience.Regional Content
Development:
- Develop and curate regionally specific onboarding content and
resources, ensuring a seamless and tailored experience for new
starters.
- Create regionally specific onboarding materials, such as local
market overviews, culture-building activities, and role-based
training, to complement the global program.Collaboration with HR
and Functional Teams:
- Partner with HR professionals and functional subject matter
experts to co-create departmental onboarding materials and
activities.
- Collaborate with the global onboarding team to implement the
comprehensive onboarding curriculum within the North American
region.
- Partner with HR professionals and functional leaders to
co-create onboarding plans and materials that address the unique
needs of each business unit and department.Program Optimization and
Data Analysis:
- Collect and analyze onboarding data, including new hire
feedback, engagement metrics, and retention rates, to identify
areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization of the
program.
- Provide personalized support and guidance to new hires,
ensuring a smooth transition and helping them navigate the early
stages of their Vantage journey.Industry Trends and Innovation:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and
emerging technologies in the onboarding and talent development
space.
- Incorporate innovative approaches into the onboarding program
to enhance the new hire experience and support talent
retention.Strategic Partnership:
- Serve as a strategic partner to HR professionals and business
leaders, providing insights and recommendations to enhance the
onboarding experience and support talent retention.
- Collaborate with the broader Learning and Development team to
align onboarding initiatives with the region's talent management
strategy and overall employee experience.Additional Duties:
- Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.Job
RequirementsEducation:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational
Development, or a related field.Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a talent development, onboarding, or
learning and development role, preferably within N. America and in
a global organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering engaging,
impactful onboarding programs that create a positive, lasting
impression on new hires.
- Data Center or high-tech experience is preferred, but not
required.Skills:
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability
to create interactive, immersive learning experiences for diverse
audiences.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills,
with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional
teams and new hires.
- Proficient in utilizing learning management systems, virtual
classroom platforms, and other relevant onboarding and talent
development technologies.
- Adaptable and innovative, with the ability to thrive in a
dynamic, fast-paced environment and continuously enhance the
onboarding program.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to collect, analyze, and
apply insights to drive continuous improvement of the onboarding
experience.
- Passion for talent development and a genuine interest in
supporting new hires in their transition to Vantage.
- Alignment with Vantage's core values and a commitment to

- Travel required is expected to be up to 10% but may increase
