** Forklift Operator****Job Category****:** Plant **Requisition Number****:** FORKL01477 Showing 1 location * Safely operate forklifts or any other power equipment to complete various tasks and projects assigned.* Ensure inbound and outbound products are accurate and free of damage.* Efficiently move products from storage to other locations in the warehouse, as well as loading and unloading trucks.* Follow safety and health procedures including goggles, gloves, and other apparatus required for the safe completion of the job.* Maintain plant facilities, tools and other items used in the performance of the employee's duties.* Follow the appropriate Hazmat clean-up and disposal procedures and immediately report all spills to supervisor.* All duties must be performed in a safe and efficient manner. Any unsafe working conditions must be reported to supervisor and corrective actions must be taken before proceeding with job.* Fabricate, repair and maintain any equipment used in manufacturing processes if requested to do so by superiors.* High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and/or two to four years related* Minimum 2 years' experience operating a forklift* Forklift certification required* Must possess a valid driver's license - **Customer Service Skills:** Meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service. - **Work Ethic:** Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for own actions. Show a commitment to doing the best job possible. - **Physical Abilities:** Lift and carry up to 100 pounds in various packaging.
