We are searching for a Senior Data Scientist to provide and oversee data creation, analysis, and dissemination efforts to support to Special operations. In this role, the candidate will:

• Lead team of data science and analytics support.
• Apply statistical methods for exploratory data analysis.
• Apply statistical methods for exploratory data analysis including advanced statistical analysis techniques (e.g. general linear modeling, structural equation modeling, Bayesian methods, time series, forecasting, anomaly detection, exp design).
• Apply machine learning techniques (e.g. decision trees, topic modeling, and neural networks/deep learning, natural language processing. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • BA or MS in Software Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or similar OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10 years' experience in data science, advanced analytics, machine learning, statistics.
  • Experience with Big Data Frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop.
  • Experience with Data Science frameworks such as Keras, Tensorflow, or Theano.
  • Experience with machine learning (e.g. decision trees, topic modeling, neural networks/deep learning, natural language processing).
  • Experience with optimization, simulation, modeling, network science and structured analytics.
    Experience with sampling, collecting, computing, analyzing statistical data and scripting and data analysis in R or Python.
    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    • TS/SCI Eligibility
    • Recent experience with modern Simulation Environments (e.g., VBS4, VRForces, Unity3D, etc.)
    • Recent experience with modern Software Modeling
    • Recent experience with Java web servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, etc.) NOTE: This is a remote position that can be accomplished from anywhere in the continental U.S.There is an expectation of 20% travel to support team and customer engagements as well as integration events on either BAE or customer premises.About BAE Systems Intelligence & Security
