RTX is seeking Senior Software Engineers with Cloud development expertise to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities. Responsibilities Include:- Collaborating within Agile Scrum teams as a key contributor responsible for the design, test and implementation of advanced cybersecurity software capabilities.- Developing and performing automated builds, testing, and deployments- Capable of quality technical documentation, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable items and supporting product training.- Capable of supporting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation countermeasuresRequired Skills:- U.S. Citizenship- Must be able to attain a Secret clearance upon hire and obtain a TS/SCI clearance as required by the position.- Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability- 2+ years of software development experience- Ability to develop and extend legacy code bases built on Apache Hive- Ability to develop and extend legacy code bases built on Apache Spark- Ability to develop and extend legacy code bases built on Hadoop and Map Reduce- Ability to develop and extend legacy code bases for Apache httpd- Fundamental understanding of Data Warehouse Technologies (AWS Redshift, PureData)- Ability to create well-modularized, maintainable software and willing to follow group coding standards and design.- Possesses or quickly develop a comprehensive understanding of Government Information Security policies, regulations, and guidelines.Desired Skills:- Certifications related to Agile development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)- Basic understanding of cybersecurity attack techniques and associated mitigation techniques- Strong experience and/or familiarity with one of more of the following program languages:Java, Perl, Ruby, Python and Javascript- Experience and/or familiarity with DevOps, Continuous Development/Continuous Integration concepts, and automated test tools such as Git and AnsibleRequired Education:BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, OR Computer Systems Engineering. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.Desired Certifications:- Certifications related to Agile development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)ATLAS Position: 2685Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience.
