IT Asset Management Analyst (Hardware)

Position Description

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Collecting, organizing, analyzing, validating, and verifying hardware asset data, to accurately interpret and/or report findings or solution recommendations to the appropriate parties
• Demonstrated analytical skills. Ability to work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, number crunching. Ability to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions
• Create easy-to-understand data analysis visualizations and excel workbooks for review to ultimately help colleagues and/or leadership understand what the data says quickly and clearly
• Ability to read and understand terms and conditions and/or contracts in a way that can be communicated effectively
• Write, create, analyze, and/or edit: reports, process documentation, and email communications
• Execute Asset Management processes in support of organizational task, targets, and goals
• Manage assets and configuration items in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accuracy
• Configure license management tools to provide automated license reporting (Flexera, BMC Remedy, etc.)
• Identify and communicate cost avoidance opportunities
• Provide support to various efforts, including license audit and reconciliation efforts, office moves, adds, and changes, (MACS) based on business/client/contractual needs
• Responsible for task supporting various required inventories and producing evidence of ownership and compliance reconciliation
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced changing work environment, but can also work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail. Conclusions drawn from data analysis will drive mission-critical decisions.
• Willing to ask the crucial questions, and enforce contract or process documentation rules to maintain compliance
• Perform various functions, which primarily involve providing analytic and ITAM SME skills necessary to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data solutions and capabilities to solve business problems.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must
• Collecting interpreting the data for a specific purpose. Knowing what data to collect, how to process it, and who to contact to receive the appropriate information
• Collaborating with stakeholders, clients, coworkers and various leadership levels in an appropriate manner
• A self-motivated, knowledgeable individual that can document and communicate complex ideas and/or data into simple and/or summarized terms
• At least 2 years of IT Asset Management experience in a large, high volume multi-client environment
• Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, reporting, and presentation skills
• Ability to Multi-task while managing quick priority shifts
• Highly Organized
• Attention to Detail
• Proficient with MS Office products and other office technologies
• Remedy experience highly desired

Minimum Education Required: AA or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $84K-$110K*
