Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented PTL Operations Coordinator to join our team in the Northern Virginia area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The Personnel Tracking and Locating (PTL) Operations Coordinator focuses on personnel readiness, budget analysis, project tracking and customer coordination within the PTL program.
  • Coordinate all aspects of PTL operations to meet critical mission requirements.
  • Maintains visibility on the availability and readiness of personnel scheduled for deployment to diplomatic sites and events.
  • Performs daily analysis of personnel readiness and locations
  • Arranges and oversees on-boarding of new employees to include coordination of compliance and travel for high threat locations
  • Performs operational performance reporting to support coordination of project tasks to ensure project delivery within allotted budget and schedule.
  • Coordinates with and assists other managers in day-to-day planning, execution and management of projects, travel, medical, training and budgetary activities.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with personnel supporting sites and major events.
  • Facilitates cross-channel communication with key stakeholders to gather requirements execute departmental goals.
  • Ensures compliance with Department of State and ManTech standards and procedures for efficient operations.
  • Conducts critical analysis and develops standardized documents and procedures to enforce clarity, consistency and accuracy of operations
  • Proactively identifies, researches and resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Prepares and delivers reports and responds to short fuse requests from internal and external stakeholders to include management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus three years of experience preferred; high school diploma plus seven years of experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio.
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter and be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess the ability to interpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving rather complex issues.
  • Must possess technical writing and verbal skills.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build/maintain professional working relationships.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess and be able to maintain an active Secret security clearance and be suitable to be granted a Top Secret personnel security clearance if required.

Travel Requirements:

  • May be required to travel OCONUS to facilities in critical threat locations around the world with austere living conditions.
  • Domestic travel may be required for training and program coordination.

Physical Requirements:

  • Mainly works in an indoor office environment- uses a computer and other office equipment and moves about to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
