What you'll do:
As a key member of the Aerospace & Defense Business Unit team,
you will report directly to the Executive Vice President (EVP) and
provide assistance with a broad variety of duties that facilitate
the team's ability to effectively lead, drive business initiatives
and keep key partners updated and informed. Your responsibilities
include: Organizing and prioritizing critical issues and required
information for the EVP and Aerospace & Defense Leadership Team
(A&DLT) to facilitate efficient and timely decision making.
Prepare pre-work (may include designing and producing complex
documents, presentations and correspondence), handle follow-up for
team meetings and associated actions. Negotiate time management and
flow of information to/from EVP and A&DLT, ensuring all are
well prepared and rarely surprised. Serve as the integration point
for the activities of the A&DLT, ensuring timely delivery of
relevant information, accurate understanding of particular
situations, and enhanced decision making. Handle the
operational-administrative aspects of the unit (calendar of
meetings, logistics, etc.), focused on day-to-day operational
activities of the A&DLT.
In this role, the successful candidate will:
Maintain accountability: Enable the EVP and A&DLT to
maintain accountability and ensure follow through on priorities,
and carry out leadership activities aligned to the strategic
objectives of the organization.
Protect time: Ensure effective use of everyone's time - not only
the A&DLT but the flow down of requirements to the full A&D
Empower Others: Properly equip and empower the A&DLT to do
their own jobs. Assist as "gap filler" when interim support is
Promote/facilitate visibility and accessibility: Increase level
of integration between EVP and members of the Leadership Team.
Build bridges for communication/coordination, and to keep team
focused on common goals.
Focus on the success of the Team: Help the A&DLT balance

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint
with the ability to build presentations from several different data
sources, understanding intent of material and ensuring content and

Minimum 5 years professional/operational experience in similar
Required: Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or
Preferred: Master's Degree in Business or related field

all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not
limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the
manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products
and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US
Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by
badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization
procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d)
understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving
