What You'll Get to Do: Conduct analysis and reporting on current and emerging Foreign Instrumentation Signals Intelligence (FISINT) telemetry data, specifically unmanned aerial systems (UAS). Coordinate with Digital Signals Processing Engineers, Signals Analysts, Operations Support Center personnel, other Agencies & Partnered Nations to provide specialized threat analysis and vulnerability assessments. Interact with the Intelligence Community (IC) and U.S. DoD Military services to assist with fusing C-UAS operations and intelligence information to enhance their effectiveness against UAS threats and associated networks. Write, submit, track and update Discrepancy Reports (DR's) in support of system updates and technical exchange meetings (TEMs).

Duties and Responsibilities:

* New Signals of Interest (SOI) identification & Trend Analysis * Maintenance and tracking of SOI library * Participate/Contribute to CUAS Working Groups (USSET, all COCOMS and MAJCOMs) * Translate complex technical Signals & FISINT information into reports and briefings military leadership can easily understand * Create written reports summarizing analytic results * Interact with DSP Engineers to create tools to handle new data sets * Utilize LINUX to support system availability and support to DoD Military Services

You'll Bring These Qualifications:


* Formal Signal Analysis Training (451 and 452 courses, etc) *or* BS degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Aerospace, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related field


* Experience and knowledge of digital signal processing techniques * Familiarity with digital signal processing tools such as Matlab, or Software Defined Radio (SDR) tool sets, X-Midas, M2Extra, or other similar software. * Demonstrated proficiency in communicating technical and analytical information in written products

Required Skills:

* Familiarity of YETI, PULSE, MIST, LINUX, Vintage Harvest and BroadSky * Proficient in utilizing standard MS Office computer applications

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: This section should include and preferred or desired qualifications or attributes.

* Knowledge of signal acquisition systems * Knowledge of UAS, their capabilities, technical performance and operational employment * Working knowledge of RF collections systems * Experience supporting overseas operations * Experience with X-Midas, M2Extra * Experience in development of RF transmission and receiving systems or software defined radio architectures
