Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental and industrial services across North America, is seeking a professional Traveling Driver Class A to join our transportation team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and compliant transport of hazardous and non-hazardous waste from client sites to designated facilities. This position not only requires driving skills but also a strong commitment to safety protocols and environmental stewardship. Operate Class A vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from various sites to designated facilities. Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and waste disposal. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure proper functioning of the vehicle. Manage documentation of shipments and maintain accurate logs on all trips. Participate in training and safety meetings to stay updated on new regulations and company policies. Assist in loading and unloading materials and waste as needed. Strong driving skills with the ability to maneuver large vehicles Knowledge of DOT regulations and HAZMAT safety guidelines Ability to handle emergency situations Excellent time management to adhere to schedules Good physical condition to manage manual loading and unloading tasks Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT endorsement Clean driving record CPR and first aid certification preferred
