Job Description:
TransForce, a market leader in CDL staffing and compliance
solutions, is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver and Yard Jockey to
bolster our transportation operations. This role focuses on both
safely operating heavy vehicles for product delivery and managing
vehicle movements within our operation yards. Coupling customer
service and precise vehicular maneuvering, the successful applicant
will uphold our commitments to client satisfaction and efficiency
in logistics. This role is pivotal for maintaining the sequence of
transportation solutions that distinguish TransForce as a
reliability leader in the commercial driving space. Safely operate
a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver goods to various locations
ensuring timely delivery. Manage and organize vehicles within the
yard, ensuring ease of access and operation efficiency. Conduct
routine checks and maintenance on vehicles to ensure operational
safety and performance. Collaborate with dispatch and logistics
team to coordinate daily schedules and routes. Document delivery
logs and adhere to all federal and state transportation
regulations. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client
queries and concerns during operations. Proficiency in operating a
Class A commercial vehicle. Knowledge of mechanical systems of
large trucks and maintenance protocols. Strong organizational and
time management skills. Ability to adhere to strict safety and
compliance regulations. Effective communication and interpersonal
skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A). Current DOT
medical card. Clean driving record.
