ASSYST is looking for a Account Manager Business Development8203 to help manage our existing state and local clients as well as drive new business. Our ideal candidate will have a successful track record in staff augmentation supporting Fairfax County, Prince Georges County, Montgomery County, the State of Virginia and the State of Maryland, or similar experience. This position is responsible for leading strategic planning and positioning with full support from a corporate infrastructure that includes, capture management, proposal development and management, and subject matter expertise covering a broad range of portfolio capabilities. Primary Job Responsibilities Grow ASSYSTrsquos business in new and existing accounts, and build strong client relationships and satisfaction to ensure repeat business Execute prospecting strategies for discovering and closing new accounts Be proactive, persistent, and eager to learn new technology and processes Communicate with all levels to seek new business Collaborate and influence internal and external shareholders Articulate our values, products and services Respond to complex client needs Prepare and present detailed quotes Work with clients to assure partner technical proficiency with company solutions. Work with the business development team to develop and execute joint business developmentmarketing activities that promote company solutions and create incremental opportunities. Facilitate closing of sales opportunities by coordinating cross-functional resources. Present regular partner progress reviews to internal management where appropriate. Qualifications Must be legally able to work and have the ability to acquire a Public Trust Clearance Bachelor's degree (BSBA) from a four-year accredited collegeuniversity or related work experience Minimum 2 ndash 4 years of successful sales in a staff augmentation environment Demonstrated consultative selling abilities Highly organized with strong attention to details Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal communication skills Ability to travel 5 ndash 10 to clients within the Washington, DC Metro area.
