more . Position Description: CGI has an immediate need for a Senior
OpenText Documentum Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting
opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one
of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to
supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment
using emerging technologies. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks
globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an
average of 26 years!. This role is located at a client site in
Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future
duties and responsibilities: We are seeking a seasoned Senior
OpenText Documentum Engineer with strong enterprise content
management (ECM) expertise and cloud experience. This role will be
responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting
Documentum-based solutions within a modern, cloud-enabled
architecture. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge
of Documentum components and architecture, along with hands-on
experience building RESTful APIs and integrating enterprise
systems. You will play a key role in platform upgrades, migrations,
performance optimization, and troubleshooting across both on-prem
and AWS environments. This position requires strong software
engineering fundamentals, familiarity with Agile delivery models,
and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional
teams. The successful candidate is self-driven, technically strong,
and comfortable navigating complex enterprise systems.? Required
qualifications to be successful in this role: . 7 years of
experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting OpenText
Documentum applications . Hands-on experience with: Content Server
D2 Config, D2 Classic, D2 Smart View Brava, CTS, xPlore DFC Client
. Strong understanding of Documentum architecture, object model,
and security . Experience with platform upgrades and migrations . 2
years of experience developing REST APIs using Spring Framework .
Experience integrating Documentum or similar ECM platforms with
enterprise systems . 5 years of experience with Java and Python .
Proficiency with tools such as: Git, Jenkins, Jira IntelliJ Tomcat
/ J2EE Relational databases . Strong understanding of design
patterns and software architecture principles . Experience with
unit testing, code coverage, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment
processes . Familiarity with vulnerability management and system
monitoring . 3 years of experience working with AWS services,
including: EC2, ECS, RDS ALB SSM, SQS, SNS Lambda AWS SDK . Ability
to troubleshoot AWS deployments, review configurations and security
policies, and analyze logs . Strong understanding of Agile Scrum
practices (sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups,
retrospectives) . Ability to work effectively across
cross-functional teams . Clear communicator, capable of explaining
technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
. Strong time management and ability to prioritize work
independently . Preferred: AWS certifications Documentum
certifications Java-related certifications Education: Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related

compensation range for this role. The determination of this range
includes various factors not limited to skill set, level,
experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To
support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI

for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts
and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the
current range for this role in the U.S. is $107,700.00 -
