JOB SUMMARY A classroom Instructor is needed to join a high
performing agile team using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
methodology. The program provides system engineering, development,
test, integration, and operational support to a large, fast-paced
program, and is infusing new technology and adding advanced
capabilities while continuing to support an ongoing mission and
operational system. The program uses behavior driven development
(BDD) and test automation tools alongside a full suite of team
collaboration tools. Program execution follows DEVOPS best
practices and employs robust development, test, and production
environments. The selected candidate will collaborate with an
experienced training team to design, develop, and deliver
certifiable training programs for adult learners. She/he will:
Conduct competency-based platform training that leverages a range
of instructional technologies. Collaborate with instructors and
training developers to design and develop classroom and blended
learning solutions that prepare students to execute their mission
using a software system. Partner with subject-matter experts to
define instructional requirements, analyze software functionality,
adapt engineering documentation, and implement effective training
solutions. Work with technical writers and web managers to develop,
publish, and maintain a variety of training products. Maintain and
troubleshoot classroom operational workstations to ensure a ready
training environment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Instruct adult
learners and manage up to 50 classroom workstations during training
sessions. Plan, design, and deliver learning experiences using a
blended-learning approach. Analyze learning objectives against
program requirements and coordinate data collection and processing
to support multiple levels of evaluation and assessment. Develop
job aids for end users, subject matter experts, and instructors who
may be new to the targeted technology. Maintain computer-based
training (CBT) modules and associated human–machine interface
components. Develop and maintain instructional content, lesson
plans, and related training materials. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Systems Design, Instructional
Technology, Adult Learning, Curriculum Design, Human Systems
Engineering, or a related discipline, and at least 8 years of
relevant experience. Additional relevant experience may be
substituted for a degree. Must have demonstrated experience
delivering hands-on instruction on technology-based systems, with a
strong aptitude for technical subject matter. Must have at least 5
years of experience in platform delivery design and development.
Must have at least 3 years of in-classroom training experience
within the last 10 years . Must have extensive experience
developing, using, and maintaining training products. Must possess
excellent interpersonal skills and have proven experience
collaborating effectively with technical staff. Must have a high
level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including
Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must have strong writing and editing
skills. Must have the ability to multitask, self-prioritize work,
and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph. PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS System administration experience. Experience
developing job aids for users and/or instructors on technologies
they are not already familiar with. Experience creating technical
publications, including requirements specifications, user manuals,
technical manuals, training manuals, and other end-user
documentation. Familiarity with Army training development

Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00 The Leidos pay range for this job
level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of

well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable
