Job Description Job Description Job Title: Senior Product Manager Location: Washington, DC Duration: 9 Months (Possibility of Extension) Background Seeking a Senior Product Manager to support the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team within the IT division. This team is responsible for defining, implementing, and managing processes that support compliance, policy, outreach, and privacy initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working within security, compliance, or risk-focused environments, particularly in federal settings. Key Responsibilities Gather and synthesize requirements from both technical and non-technical stakeholders to inform product strategy and prioritization decisions. Translate regulatory requirements, policies, and stakeholder needs into clearly defined product requirements and user stories. Develop and maintain product roadmaps for GRC automation tools, driving measurable improvements in efficiency and risk reduction. Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing short-term operational needs with long-term strategic objectives. Partner closely with engineering and DevOps teams to integrate security and privacy controls into Agile workflows, enabling continuous compliance. Enhance organizational understanding and accessibility of policy and process requirements. Lead stakeholder communication, ensuring transparency and alignment around roadmap initiatives and outcomes. Measure product outcomes and leverage data and feedback to drive continuous process and service improvement. Required Qualifications 5 years of Product Management experience. Minimum 2 years working with security, compliance, or risk management teams. Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, managing backlogs, and delivering product roadmaps. Experience streamlining and automating business processes using technology solutions. Knowledge of federal security compliance frameworks such as FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP. Strong understanding of federal information security principles and privacy regulations. Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration with engineering and DevOps teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex security concepts for diverse audiences. Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
