You will keep microservices running, automate repeatable work, and raise reliability across a modernized operational environment. Schedule and Work Details Location: On-site in a SCIF Schedule: Full time Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required). We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas. Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include Develop infrastructure as code and scripts to automate provisioning, managed services, and internal tools. Patch, harden, and maintain compliance for RHEL systems. Install, configure, and tune Kubernetes, Docker Compose, NiFi, and cloud-native logging and metrics tooling. Run and improve CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment using GitLab runners and Argo CD. Support AWS environments that host mission services. Partner with developers and stakeholders to solve reliability and deployment issues fast. Minimum Qualifications Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required). Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Education and Experience Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience. Or bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of relevant experience. Or high school diploma plus 10 years of relevant experience. Required Skills Infrastructure as code and automation using Python, Ansible, and Terraform. RHEL patching, hardening, and compliance sustainment. Kubernetes administration and platform tuning. Docker Compose experience. NiFi installation, configuration, and sustainment support. GitLab CI pipeline ownership, including GitLab runners. Argo CD deployment operations. AWS platform operations. Strong communication and cross-team coordination. Desired Skills Design and build AWS infrastructure using Terraform, including EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Athena, Step Functions, Event Router, and autoscaling. AWS networking fundamentals, including VPCs, NATs, and Internet Gateway. Advanced GitLab CI/CD pipeline design and automation. Partner with development teams to improve performance and reliability. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and protect uptime. Kubernetes on EKS, ECS, or Fargate. Tech Stack Python, Ansible, Terraform, RHEL, Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Apache NiFi, GitLab CI, GitLab runners, Argo CD, AWS, EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Athena, Step Functions, VPC, NAT, Internet Gateway, EKS, ECS, Fargate. Compensation Range: $166,000.00 - $213,000.00 *The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
