Matter/Systems Specialist WHO WE ARE: STAHL Companies provides the

companies in Government that consist of Small Businesses and New
Technology start-ups. STAHL advocates for policies that can improve
government services and maintain our government's competitive
advantage, by bringing more technology into government programs.
STAHL Companies advocates on behalf of our nation's innovative, new
technology and small businesses looking to work with the U.S.
government. We do this by aligning the voice of our small business
members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make
the government market more accessible to small businesses and the
commercial technology ecosystem. The Channel's founding Technical
Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives
passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the
government. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scientific
Subject Matter/Systems Specialist to join our team!
Responsibilities: · Augments or directs teams providing high level
functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and
implementation; advise on complex issues requiring an advanced
specialist degree-level knowledge of the individual’s scientific
field of study. · Participates in all phases of the study/project
with specific emphasis on higher-level issues requiring specific
expertise in the subject matter. · Designs and prepares technical
reports and documentation to support findings and study/project
results. · Prepares executive-level briefings, including charts and
graphs to present findings to client managers. · Familiarity with
NCI Metathesaurus production procedures, description logic software
tools, terminology editing tools and processes, and Web Ontology
Language (OWL2) are desirable in addition to the specific subject
matter expertise. Qualifications: · A minimum of five (5) years of
progressively responsible experience in the individual’s field of
study and specialization. · An advanced degree is required in the
specific scientific subject matter. · A bachelor’s degree in
business/computer science/engineering plus six (6) years of
additional directly related work experience over and above the
minimum experience requirements for this position may be
substituted for an advanced degree *Position is contingent upon
