Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze legacy applications code and Learn the legacy applications' functionalities - - - -
• Maintain existing applications, and provide support to users - - - -
• Design new applications independently and/or work architect - - - -
• Provide vision for new applications from functionalities, to front end UI design - - - -
• Interact with end users, and Government Lead, managers to understand new application' requirements and support needs - - - -
• Reverse engineer the legacy application if necessary - - - -
• Use customers' systems to maintain codeQualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or a related field - - - -
  • 5+ years of engineering experience with a proven track record of building consumer web applications or services - - - -
  • Expert in Python (Django) and responsive front-end design (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.) - - - -
  • Experience with version control systems (git) and cloud-based services (AWS, Linode, etc.) - - - -
  • Self-motivated and accountable - - - -
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

    • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery and Backbone.js - - - -
