Job Description:

Our client specializes in building high-performance distributed sensor systems for drone detection, identification, and mitigation. Their sensors are advanced computing devices that utilize signal processing and machine learning to detect and identify drones. The data is then communicated to our cloud-based platform for sensor data fusion, alerting, reporting, and analytics.
We are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Architect to join their growing software team. As part of this team, you will be responsible for building a proprietary Linux-based OS system. Additional duties include firmware development, security architecture, network configuration and platform deployments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's preferred)
• Proven experience in developing / architecting custom OS Systems
• Deep understanding of Linux systems from a developer / engineering perspective.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Significant experience within a defense / aerospace / robotics company
• Record of holding your work to a high standard
• Strong attention to detail.
