Mid-Level Technical Recruiter

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leverage Boolean strings and keyword search to s ource qualified candidates for planned or open positions utilizing the following:
    • Social media
    • Internal applicant tracking system
    • Employee referrals
    • Candidate referrals
    • Open web searches
    • Job boards
    • Thoroughly screen and q ualify potential candidates against assigned requisition qualifications and skills
    • Negotiate candidate salaries on behalf of the company and clients and salary expectations with candidates upfront to increase the likelihood that candidates will accept offers post-interview.
    • Verbally extend offers of employment to candidates. Leverage negotiation tactics to obtain verbal offer acceptances from the candidate at the desired salary range.
    • Collaborat e with internal lines of business and management to understand staffing requirements and develop sourcing and recruiting strategies that will address the recruiting pain points of the business. Partner with hiring managers to educate them on the labor markets, candidate expectations, and motivations factors. Work with hiring teams to jointly own the hiring process.
    • Provide excellent communication and customer service to all candidates that are being engage d.
    • Establish metrics and goals for yourself, and in collaboration with management, to obtain hiring goals each week.
    • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to design, develop, and implement an effective Diversity Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy.
    • Creatively sources for talent by utilizing all available tools, including the company ATS, social media, job boards, employee referrals, and recruiting tools.
    • Screens applicant resumes based on the recruiters & hiring managers requirements
    • Identifies associations, organizations, etc. for diversity recruitment to create and maintain a diverse talent pool
    • Monitors and tracks key metrics to determine the success of sourcing channels
      Requirements (Background/Experience):
      • 4+ years of Technical Sourcing / Recruiting experience gained from working within a corporate environment and cleared government space
      • Proficient in staffing tools and systems (i.e., LinkedIn, Monster, etc.)
      • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to multi-task
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to interact and develop networks in a professional manner
      • Team player with demonstrated ability to partner with recruiters, hiring managers, HR business partners, and external partners
      • Prior experience sourcing for technical roles in the cleared space, preferably in the Federal/Government Contracting environment.
      • Must have an active LinkedIn profile
