Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Administrator to provide unparalleled support for the Information Systems Division (TC) within the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Sterling, VA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• All activities related to system administration.
• Assigning personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work.
• Ensuring long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.
• Installing, maintaining, configuring, and integrating computer software.
• Implementing operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
• Maintaining data files and control procedures for a complex system of networked computers or for a single group of microcomputers linked to a host workstation, or mainframe.
• System security and data integrity.
• Assigning passwords and monitoring use of resources, backs up files as required and responding to management requests for information.
• Providing technical guidance to lesser-experienced systems administrators.
• Performing other duties as assigned, which may require specific physical abilities.
• Contributing to the Systems Administration body of knowledge. Required Qualifications :
  • 4 to 6 years of related experience
  • BS/BA degree OR 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree Clearance Requirements Physical Requirements:
    • Stationary work at an office desk setting 50% of time
    • Traversing to accomplish tasks by moving from one work site to another or between different floors in a building
    • Communicating with others to exchange information
