System Administrator Team Lead (Up to 25% Profit Sharing Benefit!) 247227 Location:-- Sterling, VA US Job Category:-- Information Technology TS/SCI Job Description CACI seeks a talented Systems Administrator Team Lead to work with a technically diverse team that develops and supports infrastructure for software based signal processing applications as part of our Advanced Solutions Group, within the National Security and Innovative Solutions Sector. What You'll Get to Do: As the Systems Administrator Team Lead, you'll lead a team using agile development methodologies to support the development environment for a common software baseline delivered to multiple customers. As someone who thinks outside the box, you'll enjoy designing and implementing solutions to interesting engineering problems involving both traditional System Administration as well as DevOps. You will help find ways to make automation do the heavy lifting of DevOps. Your experience with the Linux operating system, bash shell, and scripting in languages such as Python will be indispensable assets. Your technically diverse team will develop and support infrastructure for software based signal processing applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Leading, not just managing, the Infrastructure Team
  • Maintaining the DevOps environment to ensure software delivery
  • Maintaining operating system baselines utilizing configuration management tools and ensuring compliance with corporate and government security standards
  • Ensuring secure configuration of systems with Puppet
  • Configuring Linux workstations and servers
  • Diagnosing hardware failures, repairing failed equipment
  • Interfacing with external customers on issues, diagnosing and fixing customer problems
  • Deploying operating system level patches to factory systems
  • Familiarity with security requirements for classified environments
  • Able to setup and move workstations and other equipment
  • Other system administrative and documentation duties, as needed You'll Bring These Qualifications :--
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
    • 10+ years of related experience or equivalent
    • Good communication and organizational skills
    • Experience with scripting and with Puppet
    • Experience with Ansible, Foreman, Koji, Jenkins automation, KVM/Ovirt/Virtualbox, and/or Docker
    • Network familiarity (CISCO)
    • Active TS/SCI clearance
    • Security+ certification These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:--
      • Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance
      • Experience with RPM management (Spacewalk)
      • Experience with Continuous Integration environments
      • Experience with DevOps pipelines
      • Experience with configuration management tools (Git)
      • Experience with HP and/or Dell Servers
      • Experience with Red Hat Virtualization (RHEV)
      • Vulnerability Scanning (NESSUS) and remediation
      • Experience with building binary RPMs for Red Hat systems
      • System Administration experience in provisioning bare-metal servers, configuring switches, and configuring storage arrays
