Job Description:

The Analytic Tools Developer(s) could come from physics, physical sciences, or statisticsbackground with 5 years of practice and demonstrated tool(s) creation for senior position.He/she shall be involved in support of one or more DAC-TER projects, including ERNIE,Health (ARCHER & ARMOR), BNNA, wireless data transfer (SWIFT) and x-ray imageassessment (AAXI). This person will develop tools and provide analytic services using thesetools. He/she will support integration of databases relevant for health, threat, and operationanalysis. Knowledge of RPM and NII functionality, as well as advanced (for senior)programming capacity in Java and/or Python, writing complex SQL queries (C++, ADO.NET isplus) and use experience with MS tools (e.g., Excel, Project, Visio, and Access) is required, as isknowledge of advanced statistical methods. Person may have expertise and will work as frontend or back-end developer.**This position requires a DHS clearance Secret or above.** The application and web developers shall have experience in development technologies likeJava, Python, C#, and ADO.NET, writing complex SQL queries, along with standard officesoftware (e.g., Excel, Project, Visio, and Access) for the production of technical documentation.He/she should be capable of --- Designing, creating, documenting, deploying, and maintaining GUI-based businessapplications--- Assisting with database models, research, design, performance and capacity issues, aswell as other tasks associated with web development--- Analyzing the current system (process/data) and composing the necessarydocumentation--- Transferring prototype tools, developed by developers/physicists, to production orcreating mature source code from analytic tools--- Participating in design of visualization tools displaying a variety of health, threatrecognition and operation tools--- Porting existing tools into Java or Python languages--- Updating tools/software to run SQL queries and serve web pages--- Writing and updating manuals and software documentation--- Developing software and new methodologies for analyzing data
