This leader must have the ability to attract and recruit the industry''s best talent, and simultaneously have the technical chops to ensure that we build compelling, customer oriented solutions in an iterative methodology. Success in the role requires an innovative mind, a proven track record of delivering next generation software and data products, rigorous analytical skills, and a passion for creating market-leading software. This role will specifically focus on Cloud Engineering and automation of provisioning, governance and operating in public cloud space. This individual will challenge our software delivery/DevOps programs to provide expert advice on the development platform designs, standards, requirements and patterns implementation, and product releases. The ideal candidate for this role will have a deep understanding of advanced development engineer practices around automation, Agile software development, ensuring cloud safety, and SRE principles. Lead efforts to deploy new and existing applications into AWS environments and provide operational support for the applications. Conduct design and code review to ensure compliance with standards Basic Qualifications: Bachelor''s Degree At least 9 years experience in software engineering At least 7 years of experience managing software engineering teams At least 4 years of experience with DevOps, Cloud Automation, or Site Reliability Engineering At least 3 years of experience with AWS Preferred Qualifications: Master''s Degree 15 years experience in software engineering 10 years of experience managing software engineering teams 5 years of experience with DevOps, Cloud Automation, and Site Reliability Engineering 4 years of experience with AWS Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position. by Jobble
