Program Background This BAE Systems program supports our federal customer who plays a key role in providing direct cybersecurity engineering support. This program provides systems and security engineering and integration support to specific Government-sponsored projects, pilots and prototypes. This includes solution planning and engineering, defining security requirements, target architecture, interoperability and integration, system testing, Verification and Validation, Modeling and Simulation, studies and analysis, post-deployment security validation (PDSV), and project risk management. As part of this team, you will contribute to the engineering of current and emerging cybersecurity systems, policies, and processes to enforce standards and identify vulnerabilities and capability gaps, and reduce cybersecurity risk of our customer networks. Job Summary The Systems Engineering will lead the systems engineering effort, identifying and mitigating systems and security engineering risks across the program and resolving systems engineering issues. This position will define and implement new processes, methods, and tools, consistent with the customer SELC, which can be used across projects to improve efficiency and quality of deliverables and capabilities to ensure the Government is receiving the best overall capability possible. Reports to: Program Manager Requirements: MUST HAVE an active/current TS/SCI (please do not apply unless you currently hold an active clearance) Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years of proven experience as an IT Systems Engineer with supervisory/leadership abilities.
