OverviewFedWriters is seeking a qualified Military HR Business
Process Specialist to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG)
Human Capital Management Segment Architecture Support Services.
This position is responsible for applying specialty knowledge in
military law, history, and human resources processes to ensure
Coast Guard policies and daily activities are accurately
represented in business process models. The Military HR Business
Process Specialist will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
providing leadership and facilitating communication between
multiple teams to achieve complex objectives for the Military Human
Resource Business Process Map (MHR-BPS) Initiative.**Position is
contingent upon successful contract award**Work Schedule and
Location:On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday
through Friday, between the hours of 7am to 5pm at USCG
Headquarters in Washington, DC.Responsibilities
- Apply specialty knowledge to ensure CG policies and daily
activities are accurately represented in business process
models
- Ensure continuity throughout business process models
- Provide support for the project team
- Define project objectives and strategic direction
- Serve as a key facilitator between multiple teams to achieve
objectives of complex efforts
- Provide guidance for multiple projects implementing change
management principles, business process development, and
performance measurement
- Manage complex projects within estimated timeframes and
resource constraints
- Assess products and procedures for compliance with government
standards
- Coordinate all parties to tasks and review work products
- Interpret Government policy, regulations, and
directivesQualificationsRequired:
- Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in military
law, history, and human resources processes, or business
architecture
- Ability to grasp inter-relationships between financial
management requirements and automated business solutions
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with
executive level personnel
- Understanding of government standards, accounting principles,
internal controls, and multi-tiered system application standardsFWI
