Senior Sales Trainer Do you enjoy being a coach, mentor, or
facilitator Are you a highly-motivated individual that wants to
help organizations increase their overall performance and ensure
they have the skills to achieve their goals If so, we are looking
for someone just like you for our Sales Trainer role! We are
searching for a Sales Trainer to design and deliver educational
programs for our sales teams. Sales Trainer responsibilities
include conducting skills gap analyses, preparing learning
material, and evaluating results after each training session. For
this role, you will work closely with our sales team to identify
challenges they face on-the-job and recommend ways to increase
productivity. The Sales Trainer role is responsible for ensuring
that all Neustar Sales Professionals have thorough knowledge of
Neustar solutions, can effectively use closing skills, overcome
objections, and use consultative selling tactics. The trainer
should be considered a resource for the entire sales team, as well
as the sales managers and leadership team. The sales trainer should
conduct and design ongoing training for all skill levels, including
entry-level sales skills, as well as advanced sales approaches.
Through education, observation, mentorship and motivation, the
Sales Trainer will assure success of individual and sales
department objectives. Responsibilities Understands the importance
of high-impact training in order to develop effective training
programs. Provide continuing education and ongoing training for new
and existing sales team members. Work one-on-one with sales
managers/VP's to develop and reinforce skills and service
knowledge. Hold meetings with key stakeholders to ensure content
aligns with objectives. Utilize established curriculum and
proactively develop new educational materials. Determine training
needs by participating with sales representatives; observing sales
encounters; studying sales results and working with sales managers
to refine training needs. Utilizing a variety of the training
methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices
to ensure maximum effectiveness of training program. Collaborating
with existing subject matter experts on upcoming services, in order
to contribute to the design and maintenance of training programs.
Monitoring and measuring effectiveness of sales training to ensure
participants gain value from content. Conduct/deliver training
sessions and hands-on instruction for all sales training.
Oftentimes it is required to plan and deliver training courses
personally. Determine communication plans around training programs
and deliver communications. Organize training venues & logistics.
Must have ability to travel to various corporate locations to
deliver training as needed. Programs of responsibility and ability
to facilitate include but not limited to sales skills, solution
training, Social Selling, Sales Story Trainings, Monthly product
trainings, mentoring programs, and various other training
curriculum as assigned. Candidate Experience/Requirements
Successful track record of sales training experience (4+ years'
experience) High level knowledge of Technology buyers, needs and
problems. Strong presentation skills to engage learners. Must have
excellent problem solving, decision making, and creative thinking
skills. Must be a team player with the personal drive, passion, and
enthusiasm to excel in a fast-growing company. Information services
sales experience preferred. BA/BS Degree in Adult Education,
Psychology, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
Demonstrated experience in instructional design methods, adult
learning theories, training assessment and evaluation, training
delivery and facilitation, web-based/virtual training. Demonstrated
personal drive and sense of urgency, results-driven, meticulous
attention to important details.
