company, is currently searching for a remarkable Valet Attendant
for the Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA. Tipped position! The
power is in your hands to make money. Your base salary will be
$10.00/hour with the opportunity to make additional income through
great customer service. You will average, with great customer
service, in cash tips around $15 - $20/hr. You will be the first
Hilton Ambassador (a.k.a. Team Member) a guest will see at the
start of their stay, and their last as they depart on their
journey. With your smile, warm hello, and fond farewell, you will
ensure that each guest feels “Cared for, Valued, and Respected”
while ensuring all guests’ needs and issues are resolved in a way

OSITION S UMMARY: THE BELL / VALET ATTENDANT PLAYS A PIVOTAL ROLE
AS THE FIRST AND LAST CONTACT FOR GUESTS AT OUR HOTEL, RESPONSIBLE
FOR DELIVERING EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MAKING GUESTS FEEL
WELCOMED. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WARMLY GREETING GUESTS UPON
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE, HANDLING GUEST LUGGAGE, AND PARKING GUEST
CARS WITH CARE, DELIVERING PACKAGES/MAIL/AMENITIES TO GUEST ROOMS,
AND MAINTAINING THE CLEANLINESS AND PRESENTATION OF THE DRIVEWAY,
LOBBY, AND OTHER COMMON AREAS. THE BELL / VALET ATTENDANT IS THE
FACE OF THE HOTEL AND IS CRUCIAL IN CREATING AN EXCELLENT FIRST
IMPRESSION. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: THE POSITION
REQUIRES PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, WITH OR
WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION. GREET EVERY GUEST WITH A SMILE
AND PROVIDE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. MAINTAIN A STRONG PRESENCE
IN THE LOBBY, FRONT DOOR, AND MAIN ENTRYWAYS. ASSIST GUESTS WITH
INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROPERTY, AMENITIES, LOCAL DIRECTIONS, AND
RECOMMENDATIONS. HANDLE GUEST LUGGAGE AND BRING IT TO THEIR ROOMS,
POINTING OUT AMENITIES AND ROOM OFFERINGS IN THE PROCESS. PARK AND
RETRIEVE GUEST VEHICLES. PROPERLY MARK VALET TICKETS. WATER
DELIVERY SERVICE ARRANGE TRANSPORTATION, ASSIST GUESTS INTO CARS,
AND CALL TAXIS WHEN NEEDED. PROVIDE SUPPORT IN VARIOUS GUEST
INQUIRIES AND ASSIST VALET ATTENDANTS AS NEEDED. MAINTAIN THE
CLEANLINESS AND PRESENTATION OF THE HOTEL'S COMMON AREAS. PERFORM
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUESTED BY MANAGEMENT. ASSIST HOTEL DRIVER
WITH SHUTTLE SERVICE . ALL TEAM MEMBERS MUST MAINTAIN A NEAT, CLEAN
AND WELL-GROOMED APPEARANCE (SPECIFIC STANDARDS AVAILABLE). THE
HOSPITALITY BUSINESS FUNCTIONS SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, TWENTY-FOUR HOURS
A DAY. IN ADDITION, THIS IS A HOSPITALITY BUSINESS AND A HOSPITABLE
SERVICE ATMOSPHERE MUST BE PROJECTED AT ALL TIMES. OTHER DUTIES

CLAIM CHECKS TO WRITE NUMBERS AND NAMES ON CLAIM CHECKS AND ROOMING
LISTS. APPLICANTS WITH ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE SKILLS PREFERRED.
EXCELLENT VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS. ABILITY TO WORK BOTH AS PART
OF A TEAM AND INDEPENDENTLY. ABILITY TO STAND OR SIT FOR EXTENDED
PERIODS OF TIME AND MULTITASK WHILE REMAINING CALM UNDER PRESSURE.
COMMITMENT TO PROVIDING EXCELLENT SERVICE TO EVERY GUEST,
REGARDLESS OF THE SITUATION. AVAILABILITY ACROSS BOTH 1ST AND 2ND
SHIFTS, INCLUDING WEEKENDS. DESIRED SOFTWARE PROFICIENCIES: NONE

SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT PREFERRED. GUEST SERVICE /

DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS THE INDIVIDUAL
