Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Lanham, MD Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,442 to $1,642 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license required to start the assignment. BLS certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to start. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Ability to provide therapeutic interventions for geriatric populations, including transfers, gait training, and balance programs preferred. Experience with documentation in electronic medical records preferred. Client requires availability for a 35-hour work week as outlined in the order notes and to meet contract guaranteed hours. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Monday through Friday, 08:00–16:30. Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week, 35 guaranteed hours.
