Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Lanham, MD Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,293 to $1,493 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Lanham, MD. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Apply today and a recruiter will reach out with the details. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Active Maryland COTA license required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience providing goal-directed ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and functional mobility interventions preferred. Ability to document in electronic medical records preferred. Availability for a 5x8 day schedule and ability to work occasional weekends if requested preferred. Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift: Days. Shift hours: 0800-1630. Work days: Sunday through Saturday coverage listed; typical schedule is 5x8 (five days per week). Assignment length: 15 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Meal break: 30 minutes.
