This Position is Subject to Contract Award JANUS Research Group is currently seeking an Electronic Warfare Systems SSO for a contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8. The DCS G-8 is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization enterprise. Position Description: Manages Army Electronic Warfare (EW) programs within the Intelligence Division. Provides analytical and technical expertise on EW capability development, integration, and modernization to counter evolving electromagnetic threats. Develops information papers, briefings, and SPAR/POM inputs addressing performance, affordability, and operational effectiveness. Coordinates with ASA(ALT), T2COM, ARCYBER, INSCOM, and ARSTAF to align EW capabilities with Army and Joint electromagnetic spectrum operations objectives. Relevant Competencies / Skill Levels: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business A minimum of four (4) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties Demonstrates expert analytical and technical skills in electronic warfare (EW) systems, spectrum operations, and signal intelligence integration. Proficient in evaluating system performance, interoperability, and modernization impacts to counter emerging electromagnetic threats.
