planning and utilization management experience required; Acute

Description: Case Manager will accept RN or Social Worker. Start
required as soon as possible. Discharge planning and utilization
management experience is required. BLS certification is mandatory.
Acute hospital experience is necessary. A minimum of two years of
experience is required. This position requires a strong background
in care coordination and concurrent review. Utilizing InterQual
Criteria and Milliman Guidelines is essential for this role.
Experience with appeals and denials, as well as continued stay
reviews, is important. Knowledge of medical necessity and
retrospective reviews is necessary. Familiarity with CMS
guidelines, CPT coding and billing, and DRG is required.
Understanding of HEDIS measures, HIPAA guidelines, and OSHA
standards is essential. Experience with The Joint Commission, core
measures, and national safety goals is expected. Candidates should
have experience in discharge planning and utilization management. 5
