LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Duration: 16 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab Location: Maryland Shift: Days – 4x10 (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) Contract Length: 16 Weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 16-week travel assignment. The RN will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures for adult and geriatric patients. Schedule: - Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4x10 schedule) - Weekend coverage: One weekend per month including on-call - On-call requirement: One weekday per month and one weekend per month - Holidays required as scheduled Unit Details: - Average case volume: 15 cases per day - 4 Cath Lab rooms - Patient population: Adult and Geriatric Common Diagnoses: - Coronary artery disease (CAD) - Myocardial infarction (MI) - Cardiogenic shock - Heart failure - Post-cardiac arrest - Pre- and post-transplant cardiac care - Structural heart conditions such as ASD, PFO, and VSD - Aortic stenosis, mitral regurgitation, and tricuspid regurgitation - Pericardial effusion and tamponade - Pulmonary hypertension Procedures Performed: - Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations - PCI and CTO procedures - TAVR, MitraClip, and TriClip procedures - ASD and PFO closures - Coronary atherectomy and thrombectomy - Pericardiocentesis and valvuloplasty - Impella, IABP, and ECMO placement Equipment Used: - Impella and IABP consoles - Shockwave systems - IVUS / FFR / DFR systems - Rotablator atherectomy equipment - Acist and MedRad contrast systems - Various coronary wires, stents, and balloons Requirements: - Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience (3 years preferred) - Travel experience required - Active Maryland RN license or Compact license - BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) - CPI certification preferred - Experience with interventional cardiac procedures About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
