Immediate openings for neonatal and pediatric nurses who want to join a collaborative pediatric/neonatal care team. /n/nJob Details/n /n - Location: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774 (Prince George's County) — Maryland nursing jobs, DC metro area access/n - Position: Pediatric RN / NICU RN – Travel Nurse (Pediatric Ped/Surg with NICU focus)/n - Contract Length: 13 weeks/n - Start Date: March 23, 2026 (flexible orientation dates available)/n - Shifts: Rotating 3 x 12-hour shifts (Day: 07:00–19:30 / Night: 19:00–07:30)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1960–$2060/week/n - Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics/n - Unit: 13-bed inpatient Pediatric Ped/Surg unit with NICU emphasis/n - Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday coverage required; floating within specialty (including Baltimore sister campus)/n /n/nQualifications (Job Requirements)/n /n - Minimum 2 years recent Pediatric RN experience with NICU exposure (NICU RN experience preferred)/n - Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license (must be active at time of submission)/n - BLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) required; NRP (AAP or NRP) preferred/n - Tracheostomy care/management experience required/n - Experience with Epic charting system preferred (electronic health record experience encouraged)/n - Comfortable floating within the hospital and to sister campuses/n - Two professional references from most recent employers (1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN acceptable)/n - Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)/n - Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)/n - First-time travel nurses accepted — pediatric travel nursing opportunity/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal and pediatric patients in a sub-acute inpatient setting/n - Manage patients with diagnoses such as BPD/chronic lung disease, ROP, feeding difficulties, NAS, congenital cardiac defects, and more/n - Perform specialized clinical skills: tracheostomy care, arterial and central line management, blood product administration/n - Support oral-motor rehabilitation, oxygen management, developmental care, and complex feeding plans/n - Participate in unit-based procedures including circumcisions and ROP exams/n - Provide patient- and family-centered education and psychosocial support to families/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, social services, and physicians/n - Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (Epic preferred) and adhere to infection control and isolation precautions/n - Float to other units within the specialty as needed to support patient care/n /n/nWhy Join Our Team/n /n - Opportunity to grow as a Pediatric RN and NICU nurse in a supportive clinical environment/n - Work near the Washington, D.C. metro area with access to cultural and recreational amenities/n - Ideal travel nurse assignment for pediatric/neonatal nurses seeking hands-on clinical experience/n /n/n Apply now: If you are a Pediatric RN or NICU RN seeking a travel contract in Maryland, click Apply to be considered.
