Job Description:

skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide private duty
nursing care to pediatric patients in a school setting. This
special role focuses on delivering high-quality, personalized care
directly to students, allowing them to achieve their fullest
potential with the support of a dedicated healthcare professional
by their side during their school day. As a School Case LPN at
Aveanna Healthcare, you will work collaboratively with a team of
healthcare professionals and educational staff to design and
implement care plans that promote optimal health and educational
outcomes. Provide one-on-one nursing care to pediatric patients in
a school environment Administer medications, conduct assessments,
and monitor vital signs according to the care plan Collaborate with
teachers and school staff to accommodate the healthcare needs of
students within the educational framework Educate patients,
families, and school personnel about health maintenance and disease
prevention Maintain detailed and accurate records of nursing care
and progress Proficient in pediatric nursing care and medication
administration Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with
school staff and other healthcare professionals Excellent
communication skills for interacting with children, families, and
educational staff Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Current LPN licensure in the state of
practice CPR certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
