Registered Nurse (RN) | Electrophysiology Lab Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,555 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation License: Valid Registered Nurse Licensure in DC; pending applications may be accepted but must have license prior to start date Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Experience with telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation - Utilization of equipment such as Cardio Lab, Medconnect, Zoll, and Life Pak Description: The Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse will work three 12-hour shifts during the day. There will be three days of late case coverage each week. No float requirements are expected. Candidates should have experience in telemetry and the interpretation of dysrhythmias. Utilization of various specialized equipment is essential for this role. The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac arrhythmias. The daily census is approximately 15-20 cases with a maximum patient ratio of 1:3. Special procedures include permanent pacemaker insertions, cardiac ablations, and bi-ventricular implants among others. The nurse will be expected to circulate procedures and perform procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Candidates must comply with all immunization requirements, including the flu vaccine. All necessary certifications must be completed prior to the start of the assignment. References from previous supervisors are required. Completion of specific modules required for clearance is necessary. Candidates should be prepared to work in a collaborative environment and provide high-quality care. Only candidates with recent electrophysiology lab experience will be considered for both areas. Recent ICU or PACU experience will qualify for the holding area only.
