Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,147 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:30 - 20:00) Experience: 1.5 years of experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC Must-Have: Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Every other weekend and every other holiday are required. Description: Position requires experience in a Level I Trauma Center. Ratios are 1:4-5. Travelers will not float between units. On-call duties are not required. The facility is a trauma center and teaching hospital. Total staffed beds are 228. Charting system used is Cerner Sorian 1st generation. Staffing includes interdisciplinary support such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretaries. Daily census is between 129 to 160 patients. Unit details include a patient age group of adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Special procedures and equipment will be utilized in this role. Candidates must be screened for level I trauma experience. Consideration for patient care ratios should be between 4-5:1.
