Certified Respiratory Therapist Location: Elkins, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,002 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Care Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: CRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred; will accept 1 years with ventilator experience, including pediatrics. License: Current CRT or RRT license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or NRP (must be active and in hand prior to start). Must-Have: Ventilator experience is required. Description: We prefer candidates with the ability to perform pulmonary function tests (PFTs) but will also consider other applicants with CRT or RRT credentials. This position is for three 12-hour night shifts per week, including some weekdays, weekends, and holidays within the contract period. Candidates must have previous experience with ventilators. We also prefer applicants with travel experience. The therapist will be the sole therapist on weekends. Scrub color is hunter green. A 75-mile travel radius for candidates is required; local candidates will not be considered. A flu vaccine is required, and medical exemptions will be considered with appropriate documentation. The full application must be submitted with all required details. Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility; cases may be considered on an individual basis for addresses between 75 to 100 miles. Minimum of two manager or charge references are required within the past two years. Certifications should be listed on the application at the time of submittal. Certifications must be via the American Heart Association if required. Any previous probationary actions on licenses will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Current permanent employees cannot return as travelers for two years after their last date worked in a permanent position. Adequate documentation must be provided to ensure timely onboarding. Modules are to be completed prior to the start and are included in non-billable hours. Modules vary by specialty and will require self-reporting.
