Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year experience required; will accept first-time travelers with strong skills/experience License: Active RN state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Telemetry experience, ability to float within the specialty, and manage patients with cardiac diagnoses Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a cardiac telemetry unit. The position requires working night shifts of 12 hours. The contract length is 13 weeks. Previous experience with telemetry patients is essential. The patient population will include adults and geriatrics with cardiac diagnoses and stable cardiac catheterization. Requirements include competency in remote telemetry monitoring and management of cardiac drips. Candidates must be comfortable with basic management of dysrhythmias. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Holidays will also be required as scheduled. Floating within the specialty and lower acuity areas is necessary. Candidates must have strong IV skills and experience with telemetry monitoring systems. All applicants should have a commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
