Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to oversee our respiratory care team. This role involves managing both facility-based and home-based respiratory therapy services, ensuring the highest standard of care and operational efficiency. Our supervisors play a critical role in team leadership, resource management, and clinical protocol development to support patient recovery and rehabilitation. Successful candidates will bring proven experience, a systemic understanding of healthcare management, and a passion for patient care. Oversee the respiratory care department, scheduling and supervising staff to ensure optimal patient care Develop and implement respiratory care procedures in line with the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively Train and mentor respiratory therapists and support staff Assure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care integration Evaluate latest respiratory therapies and technologies to keep the department at the forefront of medical care Expert knowledge of respiratory care practices and procedures Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency in using various types of respiratory care equipment Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid and active state Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) BLS/ACLS certification preferred
